Hey, all! I was reading blindbargans and they told me of news wurthy audio... Well, I need to learn more about pod casts. I've never done anything with them.
Apparently, I need to choose one? The web is recommending this podCatcher.
Can you all explain further? How do I go about suscribing? Downloading a podCatcher? The news wurthy audio gives me all these suscription options: google, itunes, zoon, yahoo, and much more.
If it helps, I'm using windows XP and window-eyes 5.5. Oh and ie6.
Thanks all!
I've really liked ITunes. You need the current version which is accessible. Also, I have looked at Juice and although it doesn't offer a search feature you can ad specific podcasts or brows there directories. Juice is quite accessible as well. Then, there is the accessible pod catcher which I haven't use much at all. Google reader is another possibillity.
Also, you will need to upgrade Window-Eyes to version 7. I believe they also have support for the ITunes Store but don't have a version to test with. Hmm, I am also teaching Itunes. I warned this class that they were an experiment and hope they will give me feedback on what they like better Itunes or Windows media player. I am using Jaws version 9 and no scripts so it's pretty raw support but without scripts I have found that the following works: listening to radio streams, podcasts and subscribing to them, searching for songs, and ripping and burning c.d.'s. WE had some network issues and for sure I thought they would ask me to abandon Itunes but the intrepid group has decided to press on. Could be Interesting. Man!!! I love my job.
I've been using the accessible podcatch and acessible rss reader so far. I'm enjoying both!
I was never successful with that news werthy audio. Too bad though, it seemed pretty cool.
I've used accessible pod catcher...it's alright.
